What do you make of the rapid warming over northern hemisphere land?

The Arctic region is the air conditioner of the NH. When that air comes surging down here, it doesn't bring cooler temps if it's been warmed up. This is proof that global warming did NOT stop in 1998. I'm sure the Arctic meltdown in '07 has something to do with it. The decrease in the Earth's reflective ability, and the Arctic actually absorbing heat delayed the onset of fall and winter. So the NH is warming faster because the ice is melting. Also, over continents there is much drier air. Dry air warms up much more quickly than moist air. I believe this will be the "new norm" from now on. With almost each ping year, we can expect a slight temp increase. Possibly rapid, when the Arctic ice is totally gone in the next few years, or if we get an El Nino anytime soon. We need to wake up and do something about reducing our greenhouse gas emissions.
