Answer me honestly...greatly appreciated?

Im srry i know ive been annoying people with my constant questions..but i cant help my curiousity...im new to this whole military wife thing...and im just looking for a few people who are walking in the same shoes as I...I want to know from those who have gone through deployment....Do soldiers always get to go home on leave before they deploy for a year?? My man is supposed to deploy in july pending on his injury situation....however he just had a two week leave in December....so idk..anyone have any answers???
