Why do I always get approached by white gay guys?

I don't carry myself in a feminine way, I hate feminine men. So why do I get approached. I told my friend about this, and she said that a lot of gay guys know a guy is straight, but will approach him anyway. She also said that since I dress preppy and have a clean cut image it attracts them. I am not too fond of gay people, or the lifestyle rather. As soon as I walk into Hollister or Ae in my mall, like 15 min later. The workers and shoppers, start checking me out, and then 5 min later 1 or 2 of them gets up the nerve to say something to me ewww smh. Why does this happen?
