Snowboard footing to accommodate injury?

When you are riding groomers etc. your front foot does most of the work, you might feel your front foot cramping after a really long run. But, when you ride powder nearly all of the work is done with your back foot. If I were you I would be goofy, your back foot does less work, and I doubt you would be riding powder.
