My student council essay?

Im nawt sure how 2 start out my essay:( i dont want to say "hi, im _____ and..." dhat sounds gay weird and boring. i want mine to be cool and sound good. everyone who wants to run(just in each homeroom] has to write an essay on why we think we could serve our school as a representative. and then our teacher picks the top 3 essays of her choice to be candidates then ppl vote for their choice. so i want mine to be good. any ideas?
