Creationism Being Taught in Schools... Textbooks?

I'm just curious, seeing as there is a separation of church and state in the U.S., how could Creationism be taught in a cl without using some sort of religious text, Bible or otherwise? Any suggestions? After all, you'd have to issue the kids SOMETHING for them to use to study for the tests. Hmm...
