Biology help about Terrestrial insects ?

One notable thing is they close off their spiracles of their body to conserve H2O (They can lose water through respiration). Also they will slow movement to slow their metabolism to prevent water loss. They might also reabsorb water from the feces before excretion to get back as much water as possible (they will also flush excess water this way during times of plentiful H2O. These are a few things insects will do to prevent water loss.
