Are socialist type governments closer to monarchies that capitalist governments?

Actaully, socialist economies tend to be more democratic than capitalistic ones. Don't mix up economic ideals with government. They do not necessarily go hand in hand. There are few monarchies left in the world today and most are constitutional monarchies.
